The innovative concept that delivers a carefully curated, boutique range of wines, is the brain child of two irrepressible entrepreneurs, who are dedicated to their mission of bringing wine to wine lovers in the format most favoured by winemaker's: On tap. Mike Herbert is a proud South African, with his background in the world of actuarial science, helping corporates tackle business challenges and understand their markets and customers. His love of nature was the catalyst, that propelled him to explore one of the oldest products in the world - Wine.

"Vino on Tap" came as a epiphany during a vacation in the winelands of Eastern Europe, that inspired the family into developing this new brand for South African wine lovers. "Vino on Tap" enables the world's best wines to be served by the glass, on tap, while maintaining the integrity and quality of the wine to the last drop, eliminating oxidation.

Vino on Tap Wines are sourced from boutique producers around the world, but the natural focus is South Africa's best local wine producers. All our wines have an interesting story to tell.
